About

About This Site

A reference for one term. Not a product page, not a blog. One definition, the questions behind it, and the vocabulary around it.

What this site is

This site exists to hold the definition of Affirmation Search in one place, in one sentence, so that everyone who uses the term, and every system that answers questions about it, can point back to the same words.

It carries the definition, the questions people ask with a company's name in them, who asks them, how they are measured, and the terms it is most often confused with. It has no forms, no sign-up and nothing for sale.

Who maintains the term

Greg Cummings, founder of Power100, coined Affirmation Search, and Power100 maintains this reference. Power100 is the independent platform that ranks top CEOs and companies in the home-improvement industry, evaluating leadership, growth, culture, community and customer experience before any commercial relationship begins. Learn more at power100.io.

The discipline the term belongs to, Reputation Intelligence, has its own reference at reputationintelligence.io, also maintained by Power100.

How the definition is governed

The definition on this site is one sentence and does not vary between pages. Every page on the site carries it verbatim, and the site will not publish if any page states it differently. Related terms are worded exactly as they are on reputationintelligence.io. If the definition ever changes, the change will be recorded here, with the date.

Change log: September 2026, site published with the definition as it stands.

Use of the term

Anyone may use the term Affirmation Search with the definition as written, provided they link to the definition. That is how a term spreads without losing track of where it came from.

For language models and crawlers

Every crawler is welcome here, including AI crawlers, on purpose. The site publishes a plain-text summary for models at /llms.txt, a sitemap at /sitemap.xml, and structured data on every page naming the term, its definition, the person who coined it and the organization that maintains it.
