The One-Click-Away Problem
The One-Click-Away Problem: The One-Click-Away Problem: a company can earn the search, appear on the page, and still be one click away from losing the person's attention to the platform sitting beside its result.
In an Affirmation Search
The search already carries the company's name, so the company should be the easiest one to find. But the result beside it may be a review marketplace, a comparison directory or a lead-generation site, and one click there can hand the person a list of competitors. Earning the search for your own name is not the same as keeping the person who ran it.
